Information:
This error is a result of Catapult not being able to connect to the iSeries. To find the cause of the error, check the EXLOGF file in XL_EXODUS for any error messages.
Solution:
Make sure that the EXODUS subsystem is running and that you are connecting to the correct port. If so, try restarting the EXODUS subsystem.
If you still have trouble after doing this, and the EXLOGF file has the error "EXLOGF givesock failed", try assigning the EXODUS profile *ALLOBJ authority and restarting the EXODUS subsystem. |
