Article Description

When I try to start Spool-Explorer (and this would apply to any BCD tool that uses Exodus), I'm getting an Evoke Error: 0726 User profile disabled. What does this mean?

Problem:
You encounter the message Exodus1: Evoke Problem: 0726 User profile disabled when you try to log on to Spool-Explorer. This error can also happen with any other BCD tool that uses Ecosus.
 
Solution:
At an iSeries command line run the WRKUSRPRF command for your User ID. At the panel presented, take an option 2 to edit the profile and make sure the Status is not  *DISABLED.  
 
If it is, change it to *ENABLED
