Question

My Mochasoft 5250 emulator isn't working in Firefox or Chrome. What's happening?

Answer

Question:
Why won't my Mochasoft ActiveX tn5250 emulator work in Firefox or Chrome?

Answer:
Firefox and Chrome do not support the ActiveX technologies the tn5250 emulator requires.   The only browser that supports ActiveX Controls is Internet Explorer.

Other browsers like Chrome, Safari and Firefox support the Netscape Plugin Application Programming Interface (NPAPI) instead.

However, the Mochasoft emulator is web enabled (for IE), is dirt cheap for a site license, and permits secure access to your iSeries locally or remotely. For further information, please review  their home page here:   http://mochasoft.dk/tn5250.htm.
