Nexus ships with a standard set of icons to represent document types, such as doc, pdf, or pgm.
In Nexus 4.06 and higher, you can replace these standard icons with your own icons by replacing the image file (png) on the IFS.
Steps to Change Your Document's Icon:
- Click the Document Types option on the Site Management Page. Each entry shows the file extension (ex. doc, pdf, pgm) and the associated icon.
- Identify the file extension of the icon that you want to change.
- Go to these two IFS folders that store the images for the existing icons.
- esdi/nexus/nexuspublic/navicons24 (small icons).
- esdi/nexus/nexuspublic/navicons32 (large icons).
- You should see an image file (png) that matches the name of the file extension.
- Replace the image file with your own image file, ensuring that it's also in png format.
You can check how the icon looks by going back to Site Management->Document Types.
