Zapping the last action in a subfile option may prevent your program from compiling

If you have a subfile option definition with type ACTIONS, you can exclude certain lines from compilation by entering a Z in the option field to "zap" them.

However, if your subfile option also has a custom condition set, zapping the last line in the Actions editor will also remove the implied ENDIF in the code, generating an error and preventing the program from compiling.

 

To work around this, you can add a COMMENT to the last line to prevent your zapped code from being at the very bottom of the program:

 

 

Another workaround would be to include the condition in the actions editor, rather than the Work With Conditions screen.
