A style V program will fail on compile if there are no database files defined.

Problem 

The Style V program has a CLOSE *ALL statement that is designed to close any database files. If no files are defined in the program the following error will occur:

*RNF0203 30 a 002140 CLOSE *ALL SPECIFIED, BUT THERE ARE NO GLOBAL FILES
OPERATION IGNORED.

 

Work Around

Add a file to your program. You do not need to use the file beyond adding it to the definition.
