How to make files available for use in Presto

Product: Presto Type: How to

If you want to make a file like an image or downloadable document available for use in Presto, you can upload it to the IFS.

The location you would upload the file to would be "/esdi/PrestoInstanceName" where PrestoInstanceName is the name of your presto instance (the default is "xl_presto").  Any files put here will be available to the browser in the same folder that Presto runs in.

Example:  If you created a folder called "documents" in /esdi/PrestoInstanceName and uploaded the file "MyPresentation.pdf" into it, you could create a link to it by adding a link to a page in the Visual Editor and setting the href for the link to "documents/MyPresentation.pdf".

For how to upload files to the IFS via FTP, see KB#15993.
