Upgrading X-Analysis to V13.1.0 when an iASP is involved could cause warnings

Product: X-Analysis Type: How to

Upgrading X-Analysis to V13.1.0 when an iASP is involved could cause the following warnings:

XAN4LOAD processing warning: Failed to back up XAPROD/XA4APPLS. X-Ref application definitions not imported.
XAN4LOAD processing warning: Failed to back up license file XAPROD/XLICTBL. XA license not imported.
XAN4LOAD processing warning: Failed to back up XAPROD/XRPROJECTS. X-Resize project entries not imported.
XAN4LOAD processing warning: Failed to back up XAPROD/XSPROJECTS. X-Sanitize project entries not imported.
XAN4LOAD processing warning: Failed to back up XAPROD/XAXINSTVEX. XA version entries not imported.

This may lead the a new XAPROD that has missing information and resemble a fresh install.

This will require you to return back to backup of XAPROD after a General release installation.
During a GA install a backup of the current XAPROD is saved in QGPL and it is
called XAPRODXXXX (XXXX being the current verison number like 13000).

Step to put XAPROD back to the way it was before the GA installation failure:

When an iASP is used:
1 - Set the group to iASP using setgrp.

SETASPGRP CIBCASP

2 - Clear XAProd library (clrlib XAPROD).

CLRLIB LIB(XAPROD) ASPDEV(CIBCASP)

3 - Restore lib XAPRODXXXXX (example: XAPROD13004) that is in QGPL on to the iASP group or SYSBAS.

RSTLIB SAVLIB(XAPROD) DEV(*SAVF) SAVF(QGPL/XAPROD13BK) MBROPT(*ALL) ALWOBJDIF(*ALL) RSTASPDEV(CIBCASP) OUTPUT(*PRINT)

4 - Rename backup save file of XAPROD13004 that is in qgpl to have in case needed.

Steps to redo the upgrade install so that it works and XAPROD is installed on the iASP:

1 - XA4LOAD is now in sysbas and it needs to be deleted.

2 - Redo install and add ASPGRP option to the Create LIB (ASPDEV(CIBCASP))
and Restore LIB for (ASPDEV(CIBCASP)) XA4LOAD so that it is saved on iASP group.
