I have a subfile program (Style A) where from the subfile I want the F12 to Exit the program just like the F3=Exit key does. How can I do this?

Product: ProGen Plus Type: Frequently Asked Question

Challenge:
If you have a subfile program that's within a sequence of calls between various programs, you may want the F12 key to behave just like the F3 does - exiting the program.

The wrinkle here is that in ProGen Plus subfiles you cannot have two function keys defined with an action of EXIT.

Solution:
The solution is to make your F12 key of type ACTIONS, and in your actions, update the program field *RESPONSE with *CF03.
