How to Check PTF Levels For WebSphere
To run Presto in batch mode you need to have the IBM licensed programs WebSphere Express  (Free)  OR  WebSphere Development studio (cost $) installed. If these programs are installed then you can use the DSPPTF command to check their PTF levels. If they are not installed the DSPPTF command will display a message saying the product is not support or not installed.

Type  DSPPTF,  hit F4 and then F4 again on product - look for the
WebSphere Development studio or the
WebSphere Express to find the appropriate product number.

To CheckV5R4 LICPGMs
DSPPTF LICPGM(5722WE2)  (for Express)
DSPPTF LICPGM(5733W60)  (for Dev)

To Check V6R1 LICPGMs
DSPPTF LICPGM(5722WE2)  (for Express - NOT 100% sure about this one)
DSPPTF LICPGM(5761WDS)

If you don't have at least the Express version of WebSphere installed you will have to install it.  You can find it on one of the CDs that came with your OS/400 called  WebSphere Application Server Express Version x.x.x.x  OS/400.
