Canadian Kawasaki online dealer application
This application has a secure login where Kawasaki dealers access Order Entry and Inquiry screens, a very slick Parts Inquiry, Claims Warranty, Vehicle Booking and many others. The application using JavaScript and Ajax has adjustable windows on many screens. It also uses image functions to create new vehicle registration forms with watermark required to register vehicles to the Ministry of transportation. Kawasaki is the pioneer in the Canadian Motorcycle industry for providing this. View screen shots.

Veolia ES Technical Solutions - Custom ERP
Veolia Environmental Services, a division of the world’s largest Waste Services Company chose WebSmart ILE to modernize their existing Approval application. Doing so enabled them to sunset two decade old RPG programs while leveraging existing RPG code for business rules. Usage of AJAX technology improves the end user experience, efficiency of the application and results in a very professional product. These apps were constructed by evolveIT. View screen shots.

Co-op Bookcart eCommerce Shopping Cart
The Co-op Bookstore website is an on line shopping cart eCommerce application. It provides LSU textbooks, art and engineering supplies, school and office supplies, gifts, and apparel. This intranet site combines Nexus Portal, WebSmart and Clover Reporting and Graphing to help manage and facilitate the increasing demands for accurate, dependable and timely sales analysis information. Happy Vacations
Happy Vacations is an online vacation planning site that allows travel agents to generate a quote for a vacation including air, hotel, transportation and activities. It was created with WebSmart and supports many of their existing batch processes and has been designed to replace their green screen application and uses JavaScript, AJAX and a tabbed interface to enhance the user experience. The flights information is gathered using an RPG module that makes a web service request to the Galileo engine. View screen shots.

With WebSmart, Mitsubishi Fuso created an entire new dealer service and order entry application. It includes Warranty and Claims Entry, Vehicle Availability Inquiries, Retail Distribution Reports and many more applications. View screen shots.

DCS - Law Enforcement and Mapping
DCS provides a comprehensive integration platform that allows public safety and other criminal justice agencies to connect disparate systems. This allows dispatchers to monitor and allocate police and emergency services and update reports, rapid in-car display of mug shots,live tracking of police vehicles and the ability for citizens to file reports via the web . RONI - CRM, B2B Ordering, Google Maps
BCD Nordic created a CRM and B2B website for RONI, a hardware wholesaler that carries many different brands of tools. RONI salespeople can view customer orders as well as place orders for customers with rebates. They can also access the CRM screens to enter personalized information about customers. Customers can log in to check inventory items and prices and to review their orders. View screen shots.

Benjamin Moore - Color Samples
Benjamin Moore & Co. has been producing quality paint since 1883. The company offers thousands of paint colors to choose from. To help their customers select just the right paint color, Benjamin Moore offers paint samples so that consumers can try the color on their own walls. This application was developed by the BCD professional Services group for Benjamin Moore. View Site.

Draper - Catalogue and Shopping Cart
Draper Tools used WebSmart to put the 15,000 items in their 400,000 square foot tool warehouse online. Their RPG programmers, with little or no web experience produced this entire iSeries-based catalogue and shopping cart application in just a few months. View Site.

BCD Professional Services – Maps & Dashboards
Using an XML file generated by WebSmart this application shows a map (Flashmaps) of the US with each sales territory and includes store details when hovering over a territory. There is also a dashboard showing Orders by territory which includes SmartCharts graphs. View screen shots.

Wenger - Public Web Site
Wenger's public website was developed by the BCD WebSmart consulting team. This site allows customers to access products and information and uses flash which communicates with the back end using XML. The link on the bottom of the page that says “HTML” will take you to the “HTML version” of the site which is similar except served in HTML. The XML used by flash is interpreted to generate HTML instead. This site is primarily for users who don’t have flash or who don’t like flash. View Site.

Universal Music - Royalty Tracking
Carlos is an internal application used for tracking royalties by artists, catalog numbers (i.e. product - CD's, DVD's, etc.) and titles. It is used by 28 different countries, including Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Greece, Thailand to name a few. View screen shots.

Allegany County Sheriff's Office -Police Reporting
MCCI Police Reporting System is a full feature Incident Reporting System for police agencies. With the correct wireless configuration, the system can be run from laptops in the police cars and it is written completely in WebSmart. This system tracks incidents, names, property, and narratives. The system allows for the attachment and storage of any pc file to an incident (digital video, audio, pictures, word documents, excel documents, etc). Login username and password is PDDEMO. Havam Automotive - Order Parts
Havam Automotive recently hired BCD dealer NN Solutions to build two WebSmart applications, IQ-Web and IQ-Garage, allowing both retailers and wholesalers to place orders for imported car parts through the web. In the past orders have been phoned or faxed in and manually entered into the system locally. Now parts can be ordered within 15 minutes of a delivery trucks departure. View screen shots.

Kelly's Kids online shopping site was put together by our WebSmart consulting team in conjunction with Red Stick. It serves as a great example of a shopping cart application combined with an information resource for their sales force. Kelly's Kids is the nation's largest home party sales company specializing in children's apparel. Kelly's Kids classic styles have been featured at home parties across the United States since 1982. Murray City Corporation Utility Billing
Murray City uses secure login and payment processing, permitting residents to view bills, display and compare usage using graphs, and make online payments via credit cards. This provides real time access to data and eliminates using another web application server and the associated costs for hardware, software, and programming. View screen shots.

Clallam County, Washington State
Clallam County, in Washington state, has implemented a web based Land Parcel Search Engine which has reduced the phone traffic to the Assessors office by 75%. Tan Mist is an E-Commerce site developed by ExcelSystems under the direction of Dave Hickman, IS Directory for Testor Corp. The TanMist site content is completely dynamic. Administrative programs allow authorized personnel to modify product information, QA, product pricing and page text without changing or recompiling the WebSmart programs. The TanMist web site utilizes direct SSL payment processing using new functions now available in WebSmart 4. View Site.

Illinois Crop Improvement Association, Inc. is unique in that they hold the distinction of being a recognized third-party service provider within the international food and agriculture system. Formica Corporation - Distributors, Claims Mgmt
The BCD Professional Services Group has worked successfully with Formica Corporation on 5 separate projects. The first project, the G2 system greatly improved Formica's interaction with their distrubtors to facilitate their rebate process. Following the success of that initial project in early 2004, the BCD services group has assisted Formica with Claims Management, Custom Business Project, LDAP access for single sign-on, and Special Orders processing. SteelNet Solution Inc.
When SteelNet Solutions hit a snag in an iSeries ERP project that was almost finished, the project deadline and budget to which SteelNet had firmly committed were in jeopardy. The client, a pharmacy wholesaler, was expecting successful completion of the project. After determining the ERP package would not satisfy the requirements of the pharmacies served, SteelNet chose BCD and WebSmart. uniPHARM Wholesale Drugs Ltd. - Hand Held Devices
In a development process that took the BCD consulting team only 16 hours, uniPHARM recently introduced a Hand Held Device, a Symbol MC50 equipped with barcode reader, for use by staff at uniPHARM member pharmacies. Staff access the Web Ordering application via a secure login WebSmart program using the browser on the MC50. Products are scanned, quantities entered and orders can be placed from the pharmacy floor or confirmed and ordered from a desktop later. View Site.
